A good friend of mine's sort of step sister (in that she's the daughter of the woman her father's been dating for like a decade) is brain dead, and they're taking her off the respirator tomorrow.

So I'm definitely going to be gone for good chunks of tomorrow, and maybe the weekend too.

It's such a shitty thing, cause she was an alcoholic for a long time and they found her passed out on the couch Monday night.
