Problems with makerspaces: Freeside build-out/cleanup day edition! \o/

Scheduled for 9 AM. Public events need at least 2 members there to supervise the non-members, but build-out days are big so everyone assumed there would be at least 2 people there at 9.

Not at 10 AM one guy on the mailing list went "running late, but I'll be there by noon!"

*Now at 10 AM. Anyway this prompted a string of "that's cool, I was going to come at noon too."

Followed by "Wait... did anyone show up at 9?"

No. Not one of us 50+ bachelor pad idiots were awake and ready to use power tools at 9 AM.

Oops. I hope no non-members showed up on time.

... They did we are the worst hosts

The bad news is, tearing up the old floor and laying down tile is definitely a 2 day job so there goes my Sunday too

But the boards to lay the tile on are down and gluing overnight with lots of heavy thing on top of them

Up and down the stairs for 6 hours

....I may not make my long run tomorrow.

I hope the heavy things don't stick to the glue.

The glue is underneath, the heavy things are on top, so we should be ok. There may be trouble at the seams between boards but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Also I slept 9 hours and everything hurts, so I guess long run on Monday.
