so if stressing about the video card wasn't enough, today my 19" Samsung screen died. Do not look forward to trekking out to the store tomorrow to pick a new one, as much as I'd like to have a new screen.

i was thinking i might switch to 4K, but at the moment i don't have a video card that will handle it.

I've been considering it... I just do quite a bit of texturing and photo editing, so I worry about colour calibration for editing, as opposed to watching media. I'll look in to it further. perhaps there isn't
