FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORED

so while i was walking to the shelter, i have to cross a pretty busy road, and since it's snowy today, a lot of people are driving crazy

so this really nice older couple actually stopped to let me cross the street

but then this car behind them totally just drove around them and nearly hit me

i kind of brushed it off because it happens and i was fine

anyway, i was almost to the shelter when the same older couple drove up behind me to ask me if i was okay

then they told me that they'd called the cops on the car that nearly hit me and offered me a ride, which i declined because it was like two houses down

so i was like YAY PEOPLE ARE AWESOME

AND THEN

i was just heading home just now

and this big old jeep pulled over and the driver asked me if i'd like a ride home because the weather was pretty nasty

so i got a ride home with a complete stranger who said she offered me the ride because she would have hated to walk home in the weather

so right now i'm just. in the best mood
