Reopening of JIRA Feature Requests is a TOS violation, reports Perrie Juran. Check this forum thread - Changes to Our JIRA Implementation - Second Life #SecondLife

While that section of the ToS is problematic for some, his comment is stupid. User group meetings and a JIRA implementation that allows feature requests consist solicitation to the users for ideas.

And this is why I pay so little heed to the forums. Too many people spewing crap.

I don't agree, Mona. I think it makes sense to point out that there is a conflict. The wording is ambiguous and there are reasons to consider a revision.

However, Section 7.4 can be rephrased to direct users to the JIRA and user group meetings to submit ideas. The rest is yet moar drama-whoring.

Actually, I don't see any drama in that thread. Quite a civil exchange. And rephrasing 7.4 is what should be done. There is a conflict, it can't be denied.

Incidentally, I find 7.4 really dumb. I was not even aware of that chapter. It's nonsense.

7.4 could be perceived as an extension of "you are not an employee of LL".
