I want to have a longboard by spring, but it feels really hard to choose a board. On one hand, I want something really cute...

But on the other hand, I want something that I'm sure will help me learn to ride and would be a better experience.

The boards have different styles because of the different longboard disciplines. The first one is more for cruising/leisure, while the second one is for freeriding/tricks.

This might help. There are different styles of boards, but they're all long skateboards that can do just about the same things.
