However there will be emphasis on HMD posts to keep players from getting to crazy OOC

Or for players to criticize or compliment a player's writing and how a character is portrayed.

Well I wanted to check because my roommate kept verbal poking me to create my own game that would work like that when I was talking about how applications don't seem to always work at keeping people from

joining a game and just doing what ever they want to do with the character, even if it goes against everything they put in their app.

And also about how I think it's usually a waste of a mods time and effort.

I think Genessia (not sure of my spelling, check ATP's small games thread) is no apps, but it might be AU, I forget

As well as kind of intimidating to players (like myself) that don't think they are good at writing out apps.

But then again I have a history of joining games where there's someone on the mod team that believes that they know the character I'm appying for better than me and they don't agree with my interpretation.

BTW, I just want to say that this line of thinking I had which got me to this point has nothing to do with anything recently that has happened to me.

Before people start getting their feelings hurt or anything like that. This is something that has been gnawing at me for years.

And just comes to the surface while I'm writing an app.

And then there's that part of me that wants to make that AU game where it's like Hogwarts but instead of being trained to be wizards ... they're being trained to be magical girls/sentai fighters.
