Stephen Fry wrote a letter in regards to the Russian Olympics slated for next year in regards to recent LGBTQ* issues over there. It is good and you should read it.

That's a fantastic piece of writing. I've always liked Stephen Fry.

I do hope they at least move the location, but I never really hold my breath when it comes to expecting corporations/money to change anything for the good of a minority group.

I knew he was gay, I didn't realize he was Jewish. I mean, I know he's an atheist, but I didn't know he came from a Jewish family. (Like me! Yay!)

That was a beautiful letter and yes, one of the few instances where a Hitler comparison is completely apt
