Jas really misses my parents.

They haven't been able to come up since last january, and we haven't been able to go down.

She's sitting here crying and I dunno what to say.

Call them so she can at least talk to them?

Their phones are out of time. Maybe skype.

help her write a letter or a card and make it a happy occasion! she can send them a surprise picture!

I'm getting mom to setup skype on her computer now. I probably will have them draw pictures for them as well.

I know stamps cost money but if you have one day a week set aside as "writing a letter to grandma and grandpa" it gives them something to look forward to and keeps them close

and make your mom write back even if you have to send a stamped self addressed envelope

There's also those picture frames you can record your voice in. Sometimes you can find them at Dollar Tree or Dollar General. Even if you have to wait until a birthday or something and save for it - it's nice.

I still have a stock of stamps so that's doable. We keep suggesting that my parents get one of those voice recording books for gifts, but they haven't yet.

Maybe your parents could read books with her over Skype.
