[work] You know what's always bothered me about how some employers do their scheduling? When they schedule your lunch break exactly two hours after you come in.
Let's say you get an hour break and you're forced to take it during your 8 hour shift. That means you have to work five hours uninterrupted when you get back.
If it wasn't mandated by law that the earliest you can send someone on break is two hours into their shift, I'm sure they'd send employees even earlier than that!
a lot of times it's unavoidable. You have too many people to send everybody when they want their breaks, which is generally midway (which, for my guys, would usually be peak hours) or late (too many people)
Although I think it's a communication thing, too. Like if an employee complains about their break I, you know, pull them aside and explain the reasoning behind it, and they're usually good with it.
Once you get into The Season, there is no time to plan for rush periods as it is going to be one long, unending rush from about November 15th to about December 29th
I pad it out by spending a while in the bathroom after clocking back inThat's right Saria FIGHT THE SYSTEMFUCK THE POLICE
