unrelatedly but related to the field exam, I kind of want to stick character scan data into my info posts for this game now...

but I cba to hunt down screenshots of what Scan actually looks like / tells you in FF8

(the only screenshots I found were just the spell animation...)

I found a screenshot of Scan in action a few days ago so of course I can't find it now

but from videos it shows the name, a bar graph of stats, level, remaining HP/max HP, elemental weaknesses/resistances, and a short description (FF Wiki has the Scan description for all enemies)

style-wise I was kind of merging A) what WR info says Scan gives (name, age, gender, stats) with B] the above but in a way that wasn't overly meta (ie. exact numbers for stats)

(sry I didn't give full deets on the train kids: at that point I hadn't quite named them all or properly decided on their fighting styles)
