[craving] UNI

I've never actually had uni before, what does it taste like? o.o

first time is always a little gross

but it has this odd texture thats just....soft and nothing much

and then it tastes a little bitter and oceanic

its really good. however its also extremely expensive.....

there's a good substitute for it, just use avacado. dip it in soy sauce and wasabi. it sounds a little gross but its actually pretty good, and imitates uni a bit, minus the "oceanic" part

i miss sushi in general... and i have the bad habit of only eating ones from japan or the good quality ones in tw
