A Virtual Feminist in Second Life

Great post Honour. I was in a training yesterday where a female colleague began to apologise for sounding feminist, and then at the same time I said 'DON'T APOLOGISE' she said 'NO, I'M NOT SORRY!'

We were all laughing, but it is interesting that we feel like we have to qualify and apologise for it. I know I feel uneasy about it sometimes, but I'm coming back around.

A man said to me once, "Women are always wanting more. Can't you just BE?" Spoken like someone who hasn't had to ever want more.
