It's what they do... 8| Malformed pups are taken by the Obea to a location where they're to die. If they manage to live, and make it back to their pack, they return as Gnaw Wolves.

They're also unranked. So they're pretty much looked down at by everyone. The males because they're effectively useless females, and by females because they're superstitious enough to be scared of her.

Some of the Gnaw Wolves are really cool, though. Faolan is one. I think Hamish is one in one of the Nyroc books.
