OMG we passed so many notes in school. And we got special fancy gel pens in crazy colors JUST for note-writing

I used to decorate the notes all cute with drawings and I'd add squiggles to every letter or something just to make it pretty

Also, funny only slightly-related story: Back in the 90s the KFCs here did delivery. One time, me and a friend prank-called in an order for 8 buckets of chicken to be delivered to a boy she had a crush on

my bff from school also has a ton of notes saved from back in the day...a few years ago we sat down and read thru all the notes we have...that was fun.

sadly, we didnt remember all of the boys that we professed in those notes we would love FOREVER.
