man it was a good day to work opening instead of close
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
there's at least 100 dogs and there were three closers, two of the new girls and Einar, which as a combination was going to be hilarious anyway
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
but then with split camp it's basically just two people walking 100+ dogs which means they would have taken til at least maybe 9:30
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
AND THEN we realize one of the girls isn't there, and she gets called, and she's actually in Charlotte and requested her time off wrong/didn't do it at all/something idk
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
so it's ONE person walking 100+ dogs and one of them is new and the other one is compulsive and they're going to be there forever
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
/dances out i did my part i'll be there tomorrow all done
now @overcasts
wow, that sounds awful anyway
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
well there were four of us this morning so it went pretty well. there might have actually been five for a few hours in the middle with the overlap
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
goodness gracious
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
and how far do they need to walk the dogs?
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
like a block each or until they go?
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
because then they might as well spend the night as work lol
sea change
oh that is going to suck for them
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
well, we say 'walk'. Really we put move them to a 'playroom' and give them a few minutes
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
oh well that's... a bit better
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
they're rooms we can mop and stuff and the ones we use for camp when they're clean
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
okay curious question
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
i mean, we stay with them, and pet them and stuff, and if they already went then they get some time to play
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
oui
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
when the store is closed for the night, is there somebody there to check on the dogs overnight or do the dogs go home at night or something. IDK HOW DOGGIE CAMP HOTEL WORKS lol
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
no there's always someone in the pet hotel specifically, and multiple people overnight in the store as a whole
𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡
aaaaah
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
not ALL of them do that, but any hotel that boards dogs probably does, I'd imagine, in the event of an emergency
ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ sʜɪᴛ
and they get checked on at least once an hour to make sure they haven't made a mess in their room or done something to themselves or are just really upset at the change in environment or something
