Since one of Ling's conversations veered onto this, I thought it'd be cool to talk about it, since they all have different ideas on it.

Wario is absolutely uninterested in love. He loves money. He loves Wario. But when it comes down to it, he isn't really capable of

loving anything else. Not even a "Christmas Carol" turnaround would work on him. It's just how Wario is.

And he's the easy one, so moving on

Arthur is a neat counterpoint to Ling in some ways, given they're both monarchs, but with different sorts of thinking.
Masa
Arthur always sort of hoped he'd find some princess he'd fall in love with and things would be simple. A bit naive on his part, sure.
Masa
But then he fell in love with a serving girl. Someone he realized he'd never be able to be with. And it was kind of the first time that as
Masa
a prince, he wouldn't be able to get what he wanted or needed. He had to deny himself. Do things the right way. But when it came down to it,
Masa
he was willing to give up his throne and Camelot's future to be with Gwen. For him, his love for her comes before his duty.
Masa
He had a moment where he convinced himself to deny his feelings and be the king he was 'expected' to be, but for Arthur? Love trumped that.
Masa
He's a sap. Love is very important to him. He can't get it out of his head.
Masa
Ling is... similar. But what makes Arthur and Ling different is that while Arthur is extremely dedicated to Camelot...
Masa
Ling lives for his clan (and thus for his country). There is nothing he will not sacrifice for his people's future.
Masa
And if he's willing to give up his body for the precious secret of immortality, I figure he's sort of wrote off 'love' as well.
Masa
Sure. Maybe it could happen. But it's not necessary. What Xing needs comes first. What Ling wants? It comes in at a far distant second.
Masa
But he'd kind of like to experience it. Give in a bit. And honestly, he won't mind the Love Experiment, because it will let him have part
Masa
of that, while being relatively consequence free. What's not to like about that?
Masa
But in the end, Ling would never let something as unimportant as love cost his clan it's future.
Masa
Ganondorf is my other monarch (I have a lot of these...), but he only knows 'love' as being a pleasurable sort of thing.
Masa
He doesn't get attached, People are something to be used and expended when they are no longer useful.
Masa
He places no value on love and anyone who gets wrapped up in it is an overly sentimental fool, unworthy or any sympathy.
Masa
(Not that Ganondorf does sympathy anyway.)

Kurt is funny, because it's kind of harder for me to define his and Sokka's feelings on it, despite them both being in ships.
Masa
But I think for Kurt, it really comes down to acceptance. Not just "oh you're blue, that's cool", but really being accepted.
Masa
Flaws, fur, pointy teeth, weird feet, and all.
Masa
And acceptance is pretty big given that he reached a point growing up where he sort of concluded that someone like him would end up alone.
Masa
After his parents died of old age, he'd end up alone in the world, unloved and lonely. Sure, Xavier changed that, but it stuck with him.
Masa
And even though he's had two girlfriends, that still is in the back of his mind. Because dating and kisses are one thing. But after that?
Masa
Kurt doesn't think his chances are good in the long run. There's a point where it no longer becomes fun dating.
Masa
Amanda and Melanie will realize they need... well, a human to be with.
Masa
(Kurt is such a damn pessimist)

Sokka is the well adjusted one. Benefit of being a regular guy growing up in a close knit village.
Masa
A guy grows up, he falls in love, they get married, and they have a bazillion kids.
Masa
It's great and why wouldn't you want that? Just as long as you find the right girl, what's there to question?
Masa
He doesn't have to worry about politics or being a freak of nature.
Masa
Bil believes in free love, baby! Now all you blondes come and climb in his bed.
