also, being short and "fat" in SL requires that the feet be enlarged to ridiculous size to fit my "fat" calves/ankles.

J's has a pair of flip flops that have full, flat bare feet included. You turn the flip flops invisible. Those are my favorite bare feet

I found something similar from Sakka Studio while walking around shoe fair, but the feet looked really, really strange sans shoes.

YS&YS sent some via shoe fair demo group, and I was able to fit them on my av, so they might work too

bellballs has a sandal with feet demo, but NO HUD IN THE DEMO. That means I can't try to match the feet, so NO SALE. What a bonehead move.

the main issue is that my av is thick and I just need feet, not feet with skinny calves attached

I had to increase the size of the YS&YS feet 20% to get the leg part of it as large as the rest of my legs, and the feet are HUGE.
