Apparently the game Dispatch was originally intended to be a live action TV show

They were just starting to get the ball rolling on production in 2019 and then covid happened and they shelved the project

and then a couple years later they used the concept work, set designs, storyboards, etc to start working on the game

a number of the VAs for the game were originally cast for the live action TV show

i'm glad they made a game instead

kbity : yeah, one of the founders of Adhoc said in an interview it was a blessing in disguise and he’s not really sure why they thought making a a live action tv show when their experience was in video games was a good idea
