I actually gave them food before I started cooking in the hopes it would distract them.

...alas. Now I have Bea screaming at me too. Only she runs away when I turn to look at her as she has VERY specific spots she likes to have her pets in.

Cats are weird

They are. It's like my Luna kitty. You would feed her, but then she'd come to you in whatever part of the house you were in, sit and meow until you followed her to watch her eat.

You gotta watch her back!

She did come from a home with other kitties, so that sounds plausible

Yeah. Loki much prefers for me to stand there and watch him eat.

He'll eventually eat on his own, but... he leads me back to his dish several times after I feed him until he finally realizes that I'm not going to stand there with him for that long. LOL. I usually will sit within line of sight of his bowl, though, and that seems to help.

Festive🎄Blade🗡️ : lol The funny part was when my mom had to take her because I couldn't keep her (for reasons that make me very sad, but Mom took good care of her), Luna didn't do that with Mom.

I am sad that you couldn't keep her, either, but it sounds like she did well with your mom. It's good your mom was able to keep her for you.

Mom is very much an animal lover. I didn't want to give Luna to a shelter. I wanted to make sure she was at home, so to speak
