[banging my head into a wall, housemate] So our current housemate wanted to move back in with us, and at the time, I said, very clearly, that I have some kind of sensitivity to scent, and if something has "fragrance", the single word by itself in the ingredients, It would cause issues for me. Issues meaning it would either give me symptoms like increased

congestion (that allergy pills don't fix because it's not actually an allergy), irritated throat, pressure in my ears, headache, etc,

which map pretty well on to how I feel when I'm coming down with a virus

which in these days and times, is stressful

because FOR SOME REASON

housemate keeps deciding to buy things with fragrance because they 'thought it would be ok'

even though we were clear that a condition of living here was not using them

and they keep being surprised when I say, "hey, I'm feeling sick, did you use something new?'

and it's like, dude, I am not faking this. Why do you keep doing it?

Generously, it's the ADHD, but we also said CONDITION OF LIVING HERE

which you would think would make an impression

like, look at this

if it were the first time, that would make sense, I guess

but it's not, it's repeated

and it's really frustrating because I would think saying, hey, I've got issues, these are the issues, if you want to live here, you have to work around the issues

would be enough

but this time I did high light the problem ingredients and extracted a promise that they wouldn't bring any more in, so here's hoping

if it happens again, Evict Them
