i will never understand how religious people look at the beauty of nature and the universe and go "see, a man in the sky must've done this. this must've been created by someone". like isn't it so much more fascinating and cool that, no, it was in fact not created by a person but pure chance? isn't it so beautiful how we get to experience all of this simply

because we got lucky enough to do so? i think that's a bigger novelty than any guy creating it. there is a possibility that there isn't another intelligent life form like us on any other side of the universe. that only WE made it this far. with nothing but chance, luck, willpower and evolution. that's so cool
