Why is fireworks neighbor setting off mortars periodically in the middle of daylight. (For hours). YOU’RE JUST SCARING ANIMALS AND PTSD SUFFERERS

At least I assume it’s Fireworks Neighbor. Fourth of July can get pretty noisy (though thankfully not as bad as the first neighborhood we lived in the city; I’d head home from the bus from work and it’d feel like a movie war zone: constant rockets, so much smoke there was no visibility, red cast to everything.

It’s bizarre to me how the most ‘patriotic’ holidays are likely the worst for veterans.)
