[vidya gaem][UK help pls?] Quick question to anyone in the UK: is shipping a small box from the UK to the US as expensive as some retailers in the UK make it seem? I have something I want but their shipping is pretty expensive.

I want to order a very small, lightweight item, but to order it directly from the manufacturer, it's $19 USD to ship. Would I save any money by having someone in the UK buy it for me and ship it from their address?

I want what is basically a $30 item, but to ship it to me it's gonna cost almost $52.

UK shipping to ouside the UK is expensive as fuck now.

I am in the EU, and shipping two boxes with things plus 2 books is like 78 eruos.

I would just check with whatever shipper you want to use such as FedEx, UPS or DHL and see if you can get a general calculation

well the company ships it themselves, and idk what service they use, but there's no way to change it

Companies generally get better shipping deals than individuals, I will say that. Sometimes they even lose a little money on shipping but I guess that depends on the company and where/what they’re shipping
