Oh man, lol I ended up staying up waaaaay too late to finish it. I'm glad I did though, it was really well done and so well implemented, plus just cute and silly. I'm glad I didn't miss it

Siyu : yessss, i love that the HUD keeps the text too, so you can read the story again later! i love that they do that, their flavor text is so much fun. while it was much more simple, the joint avalon/ogham mini quests too were great (though i had SUCH a time figuring out that word with too many vowels!)

I barely had enough time for one, I didn't know there were mini quests on other sims

Oh my gosh! what?? I did not see that!

Melyna : they have a quest! talk to the guy in the building above water in the middle, look for lore, do puzzles, talk to some fish

Allegory : Got it done! With a ton of help, but I got it done!

Siyu : and i didn't even see that about the quests until now >.< most rounds of faire have mini quests of some sort on a few of the regions! Avalon's this year was one a day- go to the 'henge, find out the name of the god of the day. translate said god's name into ogham and find the stone around the sim with that name.

this connected with the neighboring region of Ogham, which had stones around, each with a single letter (most were super easy to find, those treetop "islands" each had a single stone with the corresponding plants, there were a few a couple of other places but they were all pretty set aside and semi obvious), to translate ogham without google. there was a

cave in the center of the region with a tallllll stone with a phrase on it, translate from ogham to english. there were three tricky parts: ogham (sort of) has no "p" so one letter had no stone, "f" and "v" were interchangeable by the stone, and most tricky! one word was almost all vowels (uu = w!) and also a celtic language word.

alia's done daily quests/clue based mini hunts for the last few of his faire builds (last 3? i'm pretty sure, but gets hazy before that, so could be more), i always miss some days but get to some of it!

i keep folders for faire from previous years with notecards of sim lore and such. the stories that go into it all are always so neat.

but i also never have time for it all! there's always so much going on, and so many intricate builds!
